Husker News and Notes

Bo Pelini has offered Louisiana prep lineman Jordan Allen an offer to be a part of the 2010 recruiting class:

West Monroe defensive lineman Jordan Allen spent this past weekend at LSUโ€™s annual Junior Day and walked away with his second offer before starting a single game his senior year.

On top of LSU, the 6'8", 248-pound lineman also has an offer from Nebraska and head coach Bo Peliniโ€”former LSU defensive coordinator.

Cody Green handles the pressure of being "the man" of the 2009 Recruiting Class:

Husker coach Bo Pelini, speaking last month about Green, said the quarterback just has to do his best to block out all the hype. Just control what he can control and know there are going to be rocky times in the first months.

โ€œYou canโ€™t worry about all the influences and all the fanfare and expectations or anything like that,โ€ Pelini said. โ€œYou just do what youโ€™re supposed to do and work to be the best you can be every single day. Everything else takes care of itself in time.โ€

Eric Martin may be the final addition to Nebraskaโ€™s recruiting class.
