As the 2027 Season Begins, a New Star Is Born (Satire)

It's time for the 2027 NASCAR season to begin. The rookie field this year will feature the youngest rookie to ever start a Daytona 500 when Kaili Phillips makes her start at a mere 18-years one-month and 12-days old (breaking the former record that was held for 18 years by Joey Logano).

This year also marks Kaili's first year in the ESPN Series (formerly known as the Nationwide Series). Also, she will be making her first start in the Bud Light Truck Series.

Kaili spent the last three years racing in the USAR Verizon Pro Cup Series and the East Series. She became the first woman to ever win both the East and USAR championships in the same seasons—racing twice, sometimes three times in the same day, and winning every race she ever competed in.

This year at Speedweeks at Daytona Kaili will attempt the Rolex GT 48 Hours of Daytona and will not have any teammates along with her (This will also be the first time they change the race from 24 hours to 48).

She will then race in the ARCA race, Coors Light Shootout, the Truck Race, the ESPN Series, along with a late model race the Friday before the 69th running of the Daytona 500.

Phillips is know as the hardest working racer ever—having won championships in USAC, local Dirt Modified, USAR, East Series, Indy Lights, IRL, F1, Koing G.T series, and most impressively winning in go-carts at age 3.

Phillips graduated three years early from high school and is enrolled in college.

Her father—and team owner/crew chief—David Phillips says "I remember it like it was yesterday when I was watching old races explaining the draft and tire strategy to her when she was only three weeks old."

"I could tell from that moment she was a champion and how I knew she would be here at Daytona one day. Kaili has made our dreams come true—I was able to quit my job when she was four and live off her race winnings."

"Im very excited about my daughter, I can sit here right now and tell you she will be bringing me home a Rolex when she wins the GT race, ARCA championship, the Truck, ESPN, and the Red Bull Cup Series and every race she races. I just know it. She's going to make me so rich...Oh yeah I'm already filthy rich from my daughter."

David is the newly named CEO of Red Bull Energy Drink and cell phone company and had the idea to buy Sprint so they could sponsor the top level in NASCAR.

Red Bull will replace the Sprint Cup with the Golden Bulls.

Kaili will be driving the Phillips Motorsports No. 15 car. It will also be the first time a new champion will be crowned after Jimmie Johnson has now won the last 21 Sprint Cups. Johnson is set to retire.

Kaili will also be working on her 12th movie. Her dad also said "There's nothing my daughter can't do, just like her old man she never knows when to stop."

When reporters asked David if he thought maybe he was pushing his daughter to much he said: "Never, that's ridiculous to even think that. Kaili has never done anything she hasn't wanted to do."

When Kaili was asked any questions she has never had a comment.
