Pittsburgh Steelers Win Sixth Super Bowl

Sixty Feet, Six Inches Correspondent IFebruary 2, 2009

There will most assuredly be more coverage of this to come, but the Steelers defeated the Cardinals in Super Bowl XLIII this evening by a score of 27-23. Pittsburgh allowed a long touchdown catch and run to Larry Fitzgerald to go behind by three, but Ben Roethlisberger and MVP Santonio Holmes engineered a late drive ending in a spectacular touchdown catch by Holmes.

Whether you're a fan of the winning team or not, I think most will agree that we've had two very entertaining Super Bowls in a row, and that this has been one of the craziest football seasons in recent memory.

Six Super Bowls. That's a lot.
