Fantasy Football Playoff Rankings: Team Defenses (Super Bowl XLIII Round)

Just because the regular season in the NFL is over, it doesn't mean you can't play fantasy football. 1. Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Arizona

In what will be a game of Goliath vs. Goliath, the NFL's best defense vs. one of the best offenses in the league, the Steelers should be able to play well enough to be able and slow the Cardinals' high-powered assault at least some.

The Super Bowl tends to lean towards teams with good defenses and the Steelers are definitely set with that. This should be a game with plenty of action, tough defense, and some solid offensive plays.

When it comes down to it, there isn't a question on which defense should be in your lineup this week. Play Pittsburgh with confidence.

2. Arizona Cardinals vs. Pittsburgh

Even though the Steelers offense is not as good as the Cardinals, the Steelers will still give the Cardinals plenty of fits. Arizona will have a tough job on their hands not only trying to keep the Steelers passing game in check, but it is almost a forgone absolute that the Steelers will deploy "Fast" Willie Parker out of the backfield quite a bit during the game.

If the Cardinals can't stop the run they will be in a ton of trouble. The guess here is that this matchup will be fairly evenly balanced and both teams will be trying to keep the time clock moving, resulting in a lower scoring game than usual.

Either way though, if you are looking for a defense this week, choose the Steelers.
