What Should LBJ Do Next? 👑

Thank You Shaq

Brandon RibakJan 29, 2009

Dear Shaq,

I would like to begin this message by saying that you are having an absolutely Shaqtastic season thus far this year. You have given me the opportunity to be able to watch you surpass Hakeem Olajuwon’s 26,946 career points record and move yourself to sixth best in NBA history in total career points.

But it is not just about your excellent numbers and rings on your finger, it is about the intensity you bring to the court each and every night. It is almost like your fans can sense when you're going to post somebody down low and turn around 180 degrees for the two handed slam. Then after, you make your free throws.

You are playing this season with a total love and appreciation for the game of basketball and are thriving while doing so. You are averaging 18.2 PPG (most since 05-06 season), 9.1 RPG, 1.6 BPG, shooting just under 60 percent and averaging 30.9 MPG (most since 04-05 season) in 36 games this year.

You are the most dominate basketball player to have ever played in the NBA (and in the world), and rightfully deserve to have been selected as an All-Star Reserve in the All-Star Game in Phoenix this season. (What a horrible trade did it turn out to be for Pat Riley and the Miami Heat).

I hope the second-half of this season gets even better than the first-half for you, so I can get the chance to see you continue to dominate every big man that steps in your path.

Keep ballin Shaq-Daddy and shoot those free throws as if you did not know that you hold the record for most missed free-throws. (Although you're currently shooting a career-high average in FT percent this season with 62.8 percent).

When you retire I really do hope you become a commentator, so everybody in the world can watch you commentate without having any idea about what you are saying.

Thank you Shaq.

Good luck this season,

Brandon
