Oklahoma Reporter, Former Quarterback Dean Blevins Suffers Head Injury from Ice

Josh LambertJan 29, 2009

Channel 9 News Sports Director and former University of Oklahoma quarterback Dean Blevins is in the hospital after suffering a head injury as a result of falling on the ice.

The horrible winter storm that swept across the state Monday resulted in snow and ice, and Blevins slipped Monday morning and hit his head on a concrete step as he was leaving his house.

Dean is expected to leave the hospital as early as today. He spent most of the past few days in intensive care, sustaining a large cut that had to be stapled.
