ORIGINAL: Although there was a brief scare that reigning ACC scoring champion Terrell Stoglin would forgo his final two years of eligibility at Maryland and enter the 2012 NBA draft, fans rested easy when the barely 6'0" sophomore put those rumors to bed.
It didn't last long.

According to Jeff Ermann, the publisher at InsideMDSports.com, Stoglin has declared for the NBA draft, doing so on the final day that underclassman are allowed to declare.
Just after 7 a.m. ET Monday morning, Ermann (@insidemdsports) reported the news on Twitter:
"Stoglin, the ACC's leading scorer, declared for the draft yesterday, the final day for underclassmen to enter, ending his #Terps career.
"
Second-year head coach Mark Turgeon has recruited one of the better freshman classes in the nation, and he prepared to team up the bulky young frontcourt with the scoring and veteran leadership of Stoglin. This is devastating news for Terp Nation.
In other news, returning point guard Pe'Shon Howard was arrested over the weekend for disorderly conduct outside of an Chinese diner in College Park. Howard was cited and released.
More to come of this story, including my opinion/rant from a Terps fan and Stoglin supporter.
