Luis Suarez: Liverpool FC Striker Scores Only Goal You Need to See This Weekend

It was a good weekend for redemption stories in the English Premier League.

None were better than that of Luis Suarez.

Suarez, as you'll recall, has endured a tough season full of bans and controversy. On Saturday, though, the Uruguayan scored an outstanding chipped goal from just inside the halfway line.

The goal, which appears above, capped a memorable hat trick for Suarez, who also scored in the 24th and 28th minutes of Liverpool's 3-0 win at Norwich on Saturday.

As you can see, Suarez picks up a pass near the midfield stripe, slips past a defender and sends a pinpoint chip from about 50 yards past Norwich keeper John Ruddy. As the commentator says, it's a piece of skill that will be talked about for years to come.

Suarez's first goal, an angled left-footed drive, came after Steven Gerrard won possession in Norwich's half. His second, a solo run and low shot to the far post, came four minutes later.

Suarez, who joined Liverpool in 2011, now has 11 league goals this season—the most on the team.

Liverpool's win took the Reds three points clear of Fulham for eighth place with three matches to go.

Elsewhere in the Premier League, Chelsea's £50 million striker Fernando Torres scored his own hat trick in the Blues' 6-1 win at home to Queens Park Rangers.

Torres, who scored the equalizer in Chelsea's 2-2 draw against Barcelona midweek in the Champions League, found the net in the 19th, 25th and 64th minutes.
