I Hear Voices Pt 5: Mickey Rourke Vs. Chris Jericho Heats Up On Larry King Live
Welcome to another edition of "I Hear Voices". I usually use this series for predictions, rumors and stuff, but this is an exception. Not only did I hear voices, I saw actually saw the build up to a feud take its next step.
In case you didn't know, not every article in the series includes Orton. This is another one that doesn't and I think the title makes it quite obvious what my main focus is this time around, so lets continue.
Every year Wrestlemania gets a celebrity involved in Wrestlemania. Its a win/win situation. WWE gets money, the celebrity gets money, and we get a pretty darn good show.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
I cannot seem to recall celebrity appearance that wasn't exciting. We've had the likes of Big show vs. Floyd Mayweather, Stone cold and Mike Tyson, Vince McMahon vs. Donald Trump (Billionaire vs Billionaire).
This time around I'm not so sure. Mickey Rourke vs. Chris Jericho rumors has been buzzing lately. As a matter of fact its not really a rumor as Rourke called out Jericho on the red carpet of the SAG awards.
Do we really want to see these two face off? Think about it he's 56 years old and Jericho is too good of a performer (Both in-ring and Mic skills) to be the guy to be in the celebrity match. However, on the other hand he's perfect for the match.
He has a good amount of heat and cuts good promos and that's what the WWE needs. But Mickey Rourke?
As you saw on RAW Jericho responded to Rourke's comments and wasn't pleasant about it. Anyway, Rourke appeared on Larry King Live on CNN. King of course brought up the Jericho feud if that's what you call it, and Rourke didn't look like he wanted to talk about it.
Suddenly Chris Jericho himself appeared on Larry King Live via satellite. Jericho had some more words for Rourke. He told him actually wrestling is different from acting in a movie. He then continued on to say that he doesn't have respect at all for Rourke.
Jericho was in character of course. Rourke said he wouldn't want to wrestle Jericho, but if it were a bare knuckle fight, then he would take him on no problem. Rourke did an excellent job in "The Wrestler," but is this the best possible celebrity WWE can obtain.
He fits right in due to his movie's role as a wrestler. WWE seems to be rushing into this one. There are two months before Wrestlemania 25 maybe they should really think about this. Is it even too late to go back?
It looks like there in too deep following the Larry King segment. So Jericho vs. Rourke at Wrestlemania 25. WWE looks dedicated to this one and looks in for the long haul. Let's the hope this match isn't lackluster and is bigger than it actually seems.
