Rams-Cowboys Trade: Breaking Down the Specifics of the Deal

Six picks, four trades: Just like everyone predicted. The Rams new GM Les Snead acquired a second-round pick, No. 45 and the Cowboys first-round pick—No. 14—for the Rams No. 6 overall pick, according to Adam Schefter. Jerry Jones rarely sits still in the first round, and this year is no different.

Now with three second-round picks, the Rams have the ammo fill a lot of needs immediately. The Jeff Fisher regime is going to stock the team with "his guys" right away. 

Morris Claiborne

After losing out on a top five payday and being a loser just a pick ago, seeing his new team have that much desire to add him must make him feel better.  

Dallas Defensive Coordinator Rob Ryan

The lesser-known Ryan brother gets a big commitment from his owner to bolster his defense in a division that features Michael Vick, Eli Manning and Robert Griffin III.

Fletcher Cox

In play for the Rams No. 6 pick, now Cox has to probably wait until at least the ninth pick to be chosen—unless the Eagles trade up for him before that.

Scandrick goes back to being the nickel back after Terence Newman's release potentially put him in the starting lineup.
