Calvin Johnson Wins Madden '13 Cover: What Curse?

"Megatron" evoked mega-excitement in Times Square and around the world as he edged out Cam Newton for the cover of Madden NFL 13.

ESPN's SportsNation featured the cover unveiling during a one-hour live show from the popular tourist spot, and NFLDraft365 and the always lovely Michelle Beadle were on-site to capture fan reaction and talk to some of the principal players.

The ESPN anchor and overall sports darling shared her views on Megatron (Calvin Johnson) gracing the new Madden 13 cover and the merits of the vaunted Madden Curse.

NFLDraft365 also caught up with "Mama Megatron," also known as Arica Johnson, the proud mother of Calvin. She is very proud of her son's success and believes his talents far outweigh the possibility of any curse.
