WWE Rumors: Brock Lesnar, Randy Orton, The Rock and Thursday's Top WWE News
When you think about the landscape of WWE right now, it is scary to think of what could happen should either Brock Lesnar or John Cena get hurt.
It is not easy to be optimistic about the business right now. We try to find the positives, and certainly there are little things to enjoy each week, but on the whole, WWE is in a heap of trouble. Imagine how bad things could get if the buyrate for Extreme Rules tanks.
WWE has fallen into the habit of putting all its eggs in one basket—Lesnar, The Rock, etc.—at the risk of developing new stars.

BROCK LESNAR BRINGING THE PAIN TO RANDY ORTON AT SUMMERSLAM
While WWE is fully immersed in all the Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena madness right now, there are tentative plans in place to have Lesnar go up against Randy Orton on one of the biggest shows of the year: SummerSlam.
Question on Everybody's Mind: Is Orton a good pick for Lesnar?
Our Take: Absolutely. When you put Orton into a good feud that people care about with a good build, he is a lot more motivated to make it great. Lesnar is only worried about making money, so the burden of building the match would fall to Orton, but it is one he can handle.
Hype Meter: 5 out of 5 Apex Predators
Obviously, this is all very preliminary, but it would be good for WWE to build Orton back up into a main-event spot. He has been awash in feuds that couldn't get going due to injuries (Wade Barrett) or poorly thought out ideas from the start (Kane.)

THE ROCK READY TO ELECTRIFY WASHINGTON
While some things should be taken as tongue-in-cheek, there is no reason to think that The Rock's talk about entering politics one day is a joke. We have seen plenty of actors and wrestlers try to get involved in that whole mess, with some success along the way.
Question on Everybody's Mind: Who would beat The Rock in a debate?
Our Take: On charisma alone, there is no politician alive that can touch The Great One. He has that presence to captivate an audience, even if what he is saying is complete garbage.
Hype Meter: 5 out of 5 Reasons Wrestling Will Rule the World
It doesn't happen often when you are watching WWE, but you can slowly feel wrestling take over the world one day at a time. Rock, Steve Austin, Hulk Hogan, Brock Lesnar, etc. have all had successful transitions into other areas of work.

CHRIS JERICHO'S WWE STATUS STILL UP IN THE AIR
Despite Jericho being involved in the WWE Championship match at Extreme Rules, it appears that at some point soon the Ayatollah of Rock and Roll-ah will be living up to that name with his band Fozzy, according to Jericho's Twitter.
"HUGE @fozzyrock US tour announcement coming very, very soon!!!! We're going coast to coast this time kids....

Question on Everybody's Mind: Can WWE afford to lose Jericho?
Our Take: Unless there is some grand plan to get Wade Barrett, Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara back on the roster very soon, it would not be ideal for Jericho to walk away. He does have other avenues he wants to explore, but it would be a huge blow to WWE.
Hype Meter: 4 out of 5 Rock Stars
It is scary to think what awaits CM Punk after he is done with Jericho. I have had issues with their feud lately, but at least we know they will deliver good matches on pay-per-view. If Jericho leaves, where does Punk go next?
