Detroit Lions: Calvin Johnson Is in Danger—Rally the Troops, NFC North!

Friends, we are in a time of great danger.

Calvin Johnson has only to beat Cam Newton for the Madden Cover. If this happens, great disaster awaits the Lions.

We cannot let this happen.

You have until this afternoon to turn this around. You need to start voting as often as possible, getting friends and next door neighbors to vote for Cam Newton.

That's right, Cam Newton. Let's face it, the Madden Cover Curse lives and we don't need that junk in the NFC North or Detroit.

You need to vote early, often and with fake IP addresses if need be.

Aside from needing him to win games, he's a nice guy and who wants to see a nice guy have an ACL explode or a concussion knock him out for the season.

No good can come of this win. In fact, it's the one win Detroit fans should be cheering against.

Forget what Johnson thinks or anyone else. This is on the fans—you know what will happen if the Madden people get Megatron.

Think about it. You know this to be true.

Packers, Vikings and Bears fans, this is for you as well. A healthy Calvin Johnson makes for a better NFC North. Yes, I know the path to the Super Bowl might seem easier without Megatron across the field, but this is not so.

By playing the best in the game, your team becomes better. Harder. Sharper by virtue of the hottest fires of competition.

You need Johnson as much as the Lions. You need to be voting for Cam Newton, not for his own sake or that of the Lions or their fans.

Friends, you need to vote for Newton for your own sake, for the sake of the NFC North, for the sake of your teams and yes, the sake of America.
