WWE Extreme Rules 2012: Dolph Ziggler, Lord Tensai and Stars That Must Appear

Jun 7, 2018

With the 2012 Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View just a few days away, there are serious questions left unanswered about where key superstars fit on the card.

Guys like Dolph Ziggler and Lord Tensai have been on TV leading up to this PPV but haven’t been announced into matches. As we have seen in the past, that doesn’t mean a thing.

All of the following stars must be on the card to make it a success, but WWE may have surprises involving each of these wrestlers in store for the fans. All signs point to Sunday’s show being as extreme as it possibly could be.

Dolph Ziggler

When the PPV card is less than a week away and Dolph Ziggler hasn’t been announced for a match, something is seriously wrong.

Fans have fallen in love with this guy after seeing him grow from just another member of the Spirit Squad to one of the best workers in the company. Add in the looks and charisma, and WWE has themselves the next Shawn Michaels.

The company needs to start giving Ziggler the kind of push that they were giving Randy Orton early in his career, and what better way to do that than by having RKO feud with Dolph next. If Ziggler interferes on Sunday, the beginning of the feud would be set in stone.

Lord Tensai

After beating John Cena on Raw and destroying everything in his path since coming back to WWE, Lord Tensai must make his presence felt at Extreme Rules.

Who will he attack? CM Punk, of course!

After a hard fought battle between Punk and Chris Jericho that ended the feud permanently by having Punk go over again, the WWE must let Tensai brutalize the Chicago boy in his hometown.

With questions surrounding the crowd caring about Tensai, having him destroy CM Punk in Chi-town would be the ultimate way to get Tensai heat and start their feud. It would be a great way to end the PPV.

Brodus Clay

After weeks of squash matches and becoming a fan favorite, it’s time to get Brodus into a match that lasts more than five moves. The perfect opponent would be former US Champion Jack Swagger.

Since WWE obviously doesn’t care about jobbing Swagger out, Brodus and Swagger could have a longer match that makes both look like real wrestlers.

It’s obvious Clay would go over, but it would be a better match than watching him destroy another nobody. WWE needs to start doing something with Brodus while people still care.
