Kansas City Chiefs 2012 Schedule: Downloadable, Printable
For all that went wrong last year, Kansas City Chiefs fans should still have plenty of optimism to believe they can reach the playoffs in 2012. Maybe Jamaal Charles and Eric Berry will have their struggles in returning to the field after both suffered ACL tears in September, but even at less than 100 percent, they are much better than their replacements from a year ago.
While Charles will still be a game-breaker, offensive coordinator Brian Daboll had great success back in Cleveland with Peyton Hillis, and should continue to do so in Kansas City. On paper, the Chiefs also have the easiest schedule to run against this year, and that is the same situation they were walking into back in 2009, when they won the AFC West.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Quarterback Matt Cassel tends to play at his best when the running game is effective. And that means good things for Dwayne Bowe, as defenses are forced to bring eight in the box, giving Bowe free releases off the line of scrimmage.
Defensive State Of Mind
The loss of Brandon Carr will hurt in the secondary, but as mentioned above, they will be getting Berry back, and Brandon Flowers is still a solid press-man corner. Adding depth up front is a must in the draft, but at least they have a good core of linebackers that can make plays at the second level.
Like all defenses, they need the offense to sustain drives, even if they're not necessarily scoring many points. And for that to happen in Kansas City, they need a strong running game. With that likely to happen, this defense should have no problems staying fresh over the course of the season. That is going to be a problem for opposing offenses coming to the always hostile and loud Arrowhead Stadium.
