We wanted some music—and we got tons of Sweet Chin Music!
You get the point now. Title matches are priority for Wrestlemania, given the fact that they are the money makers—but what about Undertaker's opponent?
We know 'Taker might not ever lose at the grandest stage of them all. However, though we know the outcome the marvelous part is witnessing how the Deadman keeps his streak alive and let his opponent rest in peace like all the others.
Rumors and suggestions concerning Taker's Wrestlemania 25 opponent has been flying left and right. Some have been as good as Jericho, which I think is too far out of reach with Mickey Rourke rumors buzzing, and wrestlers like Vladimir Koslov, which would be idiotic.
Koslov isn't over with the fans and still needs more development before he can face 'Taker, let alone a match similar to that magnitude at the Wrestlemania—period.
During the Rumble, a segment had been cut with JBL promising HBK all the money he needs for his family if he does his employee duties. In other words, kick Cena's teeth down his throat. JBL left and headed for the ring while HBK looked in the mirror like a lost soul.
As he got himself together he turned around and the Undertaker was right in front of him and there was a brief stare down. The atmosphere was fantastic and Taker told HBK "Sometimes, you got to go through hell to reach heaven."
Is WWE foreshadowing what looks to be an instant classic? I'm on board for one and I believe many are too. However, the pieces of the puzzle are still missing. I don't mean why 'Taker confronted HBK—let me further elaborate. 'Taker may be all green lights.
Then again, he might not be, as he and Big Show were clashing throughout the rumble and after they both were eliminated. HBK doesn't seem to be either. He's still involved with JBL and I believe JBL will have some unpleasant words for Shawn following his Rumble defeat.
Aren't HBK and JBL suppose to feud? I would rather see the Showstopper face the Deadman than ol' JBL. It still feels a little out of reach, so WWE would have to give Shawn the green light with concluding that JBL feud in some way.
There is still time though—about two months. Could we see a conclusion at No Way Out?
Like I stated before, I visioned this feud going all the way to Houston—but plans could change. If that were to happen then what would become of JBL? He isn't as dynamic as HBK. His gimmick puts a bind on him and limits storylines. WWE could find something for him, right?
I got my fingers crossed. Let's hope we can witness two Texas legends face off in an epic clash. The born again Christian, Shawn Michaels versus The Deadman, Undertaker. With many possible roads to Wrestlemania to choose from Houston might not have a problem—but problems.
