I Hear Voices pt. 2: Randy Orton Rocks Rumble, Earns First WM 25 Main Event Slot
I've already covered Orton winning the Rumble, but I think I should have taken some more time on it. I was so wrapped up in Orton's victory, I failed to at least dig a little deeper under the surface.
Orton has won the Rumble. I'm stoked and so are many. What does this mean, though? Let me further elaborate on this. Orton had the blueprint to the Royal Rumble. Regardless of who or what came his way, he was able to overcome the odds. It was a very controlled Rumble after Rhodes and DiBiase, Orton's Legacy members, had entered the ring.

RVD's return was great, I would like to add. This Rumble is where that road to Wrestlemania begins and it was significant because we would know at least one name that was going to be on the main event card.
Orton became the first to officially be a part of Wrestlemania's 25th anniversary in Houston, Texas, and was the first to earn his first-class flight there. Some people have mentioned that Orton had made history by becoming the first true heel to win the Rumble. Congrats to him, I couldn't be any prouder.
I believe history had repeated itself between the last four men in the Rumble. Legacy beat down an exhausted cerebral assassin, Triple H, and Priceless held him as Orton slapped Triple H silly. Sound familiar? Orton got the same exact treatment when he was booted from Evolution.
Orton and Legacy nearly emulated that nightmare that has haunted Orton since 2004, with the exception of the dumbs down drop, of course.
On a side note, I believe Santino has a new record for lasting in the ring for a mere second.
So Orton is heading to Wrestlemania 25!? What about the McMahons? Rumor has it that they will take action on Raw following Orton's actions (punt to Vince), though I believe that a McMahon will align with Orton (Stephanie). The road to WM25 is still about two rigid months away. Orton will have to stay sharp and keep his eye on Cena, who defeated JBL for the World Heavyweight title at the Rumble (some sweet chin music was involved).
Will Orton set his eyes on Cena next? A promo was also shown for No Way Out's Elimination Chamber match..."One chamber, Two titles". If Cena thought he overcame adversity...he hasn't seen anything yet. Orton has also stated in an ESPN interview that he is searching for a fourth Legacy member. How much dominant can they be?
We've seen these three men turn an "anything is possible match" into an "Orton is going to win no matter what match". Imagine what they can do with a fourth man. Raw shall set the tone for Wrestlemania's tough road...I hear voices and they're telling me Orton's trip to Houston, Texas, is inevitable.
