WWE Extreme Rules 2012: Brock Lesnar Won't Lose to John Cena Due to Lord Tensai
Brock Lesnar will be wrestling in his first return match next Sunday at Extreme Rules against the wrestler he antagonized upon his return, John Cena.
Since their program launched three weeks ago, the momentum has been pretty one-sided—with all of it belonging to Lesnar.
Usually when the momentum is this one-sided, the favorite to win the culminating match would be John Cena. But that's not the case when it comes to this program.

Lesnar vs. Cena next Sunday is absolutely not the culmination of a feud; it's the stepping stone of another.
Is this angle really a rivalry between John Cena and Brock Lesnar, or is it a case of John Laurinaitis trying to replace Cena?
I'm putting my money on the latter choice.
Look for Lesnar vs. Cena to simply be a stepping stone for the upcoming Cena vs. Laurinaitis angle.
With this being the case, there is absolutely no chance Cena can defeat Lesnar at Extreme Rules.
Putting aside the fact that this is Lesnar's first return match in the WWE—and WWE probably wants to keep him happy—Cena must lose to continue his angle with Laurinaitis and Lord Tensai.
On the upcoming edition of Raw, look for Laurinaitis to solidify his association with Lord Tensai while Lesnar and Cena do their own thing.
At the Extreme Rules PPV, Lesnar will defeat Cena after Lord Tensai costs Cena the match—with the approval of Laurinaitis.
Cena will then feud with Tensai for a little while—as reported—until it turns into a full-fledged feud between Cena and Laurinaitis.
I have reviewed all of the past events in this angle, and it's pretty blatant to me that WWE is setting this up. What other reason would they have to book Tensai randomly defeating Cena on an episode of Raw?
