Ryan Tannehill: Adidas Adds QB to Roster of NFL Talent

Adidas has a new quarterback sporting their gear—soon-to-be first-round pick and former Texas A&M quarterback Ryan Tannehill.

The company announced it on their website today:

"Adidas today announced a partnership with top NFL Draft prospect quarterback Ryan Tannehill of Texas A&M University."

Tannehill is considered the third-best prospect at the quarterback position, and he could be drafted as high as the fourth overall pick to the Cleveland Browns in this year's NFL draft.

Last year for Texas A&M, Tannehill threw for 3744 yards, 29 touchdowns and 15 interceptions. He spent the early portion of his career as a wide receiver, so his athleticism certainly isn't in doubt.

Unlike Andrew Luck or Robert Griffin III, I don't expect Tannehill to make an early impact on the league. The most likely scenario for the still somewhat-raw quarterback is to be drafted by the Miami Dolphins, where he'll sit on the bench for a year or two and refine his game...

...and look good sporting some adidas cleats, of course.
