Conditions were not conducive to scoring during third round action. High winds made shot-making a challenge. This came after thunderstorms suspended play on Friday.

The adverse conditions explains how Ben Curtis was able to go out and shoot a one-over par 73, and end up with a three-shot lead over second place Matt Every.

Last-Minute Prediction

After a disappointing Masters performance, K.J. Choi will bounce back in San Antonio and win the Valero Texas Open. TPC San Antonio isn't a particularly hard golf course, so if he can hit the fairways consistently, he should be in great shape this week.
