BREAKING NEWS: Ric Flair Forming NWO Stable in TNA!

For a while now it has been rumored that Ric Flair would join TNA. But he didn't for a while considering he just left the WWE and really had no desire to return to wrestling. But still it had been rumored.

Now comes news that Ric Flair would bring back the NWO to TNA. Many believe it is one of the reasons WCW died and lost to WWF. Sure it worked for a while, but after two or three reincarnations in WCW with the red and black groups it was just too much.

Now TNA wants to bring it back, and of course former members in WCW like Kevin Nash and Sting would be apart of it.

Booker T was apart of the group in the WWE, so he would be in the running as well as Kurt Angle if he sticks around in TNA after his contract ends in the spring.

There is a problem though. WWE owns the name NWO. Since they own all rights to WCW, who owned NWO, they own the name. Also Vince McMahon brought back the NWO to the WWE around 2002.

It lasted in the WWE until around 2004 or 2005 and Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, and Hogan who were all in the group ended up leaving soon after the split. Actually Hall was fired late 2002 or 2003 for a few different reasons I will not go into.

Nash left for TNA after taking a little time off once the NWO disbanded. And Hogan stuck around for a little while longer and wrestled until about 2005 full time. Then just every now and then.

In any case WWE owns the name, so TNA would have to come up with a different one. Also Flair, I personally think, will not wrestle again. If he does it will be once every month if that much.

He may have more of a Mick Foley role than anything, where he wrestles every now and then, but has a good bit of TV time.

Flair has mentioned a possible return in the past, but since his son Reid is just now getting into the business and just made his wrestling debut, I don't think he will go to TNA.

Just my opinion, but you never know. All signs point to him not going, but knowing Flair he could pull a 180 on us all and go to TNA.
