Randy Orton Gives Away New Member in the Legacy in an Online Interview

Yesterday Randy Orton did an interview with ESPN.com to promote the Royal Rumble this Sunday. He answered a few questions like how are you getting face pops as a heel.

He also talked with ESPN about the his finisher the RKO. But one thing stood out of all of that. ESPN asked him about if he is thinking of getting a new member in Legacy. Here is his comment to them:

"Mike Rotunda has two boys who are in FCW, the WWE’s developmental system. Then of course there was (Superfly) Snuka’s son who had his shot, but he’s out.

Afa the Wild Samoan’s son had his shot, but he’s out. One guy I’ve been looking at really closely is Harry Smith. He’s Davey Boy Smith’s son, and he’s a big, young kid who has that hunger.

He’s a strong boy, and I think he’s at that age now where he’s learned from some of the mistakes he’s made in the past. He originally debuted as DH Smith, but he’s a completely different person right now.

I have my eye on him, but we’ll have to see what the future holds. I need one more guy, but he has to have wrestling in his blood and he has to have that potential to one day follow in my footsteps. I won’t settle for anything less."

Which pretty much tells you Smith will be in Orton's Legacy. I mean how obvious can it be? I recently wrote an article about Smith being considered to move up and be in Legacy by the WWE.

Last time we saw him was in early 2008, so if he debuted as Harry Smith instead of D.H. Smith no one would be the wiser. Except if they read Orton's comment of course, or knew about Smith.

I do not see him as a heel though, just to weird after seeing him as a face. But I guess we will see right? I feel Smith is a good wrestler, you would have to be being Davey Boy Smith's son.

I just have not seen any excitement out of him that Dibiase, Rhodes, and Orton have. But maybe we will. He may be in the Rumble match Sunday and be one of the guys helping Orton get ahead.

If Orton does win the Rumble like many believe he will, I believe Smith may have a part in it. Or at least help out Orton in a big way somehow in the future. I just feel it happening.
