Robert Griffin III Video: Watch RGIII Star in New Adidas Ad

When Robert Griffin III signed with Adidas in February, the writing was on the wall: He was going to star in an ad at some point, running really fast, most likely with a parachute attached to him.

Well, RGIII fans will be mighty happy to see Griffin showing off his explosiveness in the new adizero commercial.

Talking about the pressure of being a potential top-three pick in this year's NFL draft, Griffin closes with, "They say I don't know what something that heavy can do. I say they have no idea what light can do." He then proceeds to use The Force to magically levitate the new shoe.

Griffin is a special athlete, there's no question about that. And special athletes who lead their football teams to glory generally get lucrative endorsement deals.

After becoming a legend at Baylor, Griffin now takes his talents to the NFL, where he will be surrounded by a lot of fast, strong guys who grunt a lot and make mean faces. While his blazing speed should make up for that when he's scrambling out of the pocket, he must address questions in the pocket first and foremost.

Adidas has attached to a potential future star in Griffin and should be there with him every step of the way as he learns the NFL game this year. Chances are that he'll get drafted by a bad team with a desperate need for a game-changer. He can be that game-changer, and his speed will undoubtedly be a part of that.

With Griffin, Adidas is going along for the ride. How bumpy that ride is will determine if Griffin can live up to the hype.

One thing's for sure: He should be able to levitate over the goal line at least a few times in his NFL career.
