How I'd Like To See The Royal Rumble Go Down.

This coming Sunday is the Royal Rumble, the first step in the road to Wrestlemania. Quite possibly the best pay per view of the year. Where else can you see all of the superstars compete at a PPV, not to mention 30 in one match?

Aside from the always fantastic 30-man over-the-top-rope battle royal, we have several other matches that I feel are all being set up as ground work for the coming of the big show Wrestlemania.

First up Jeff Hardy vs. Edge for the WWE championship. Winner: Jeff Hardy.

I think Jeff's title reign will take him right up to Wrestlemania and compete in what will probably be a fatal four way for the title Edge vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Matt Hardy vs. Christian Cage.

We'll see Christian appear very soon on WWE and be the person behind the Jeff attacks. Matt will come to help his brother take on both Edge and Christian, however Jeff wont want Matt's help and he'll be sick of him constantly trying to protect him.

Edge and Christian will be at each others throats because both will want the title causing them to be at odds as well. Bringing us to possibly a TLC match for the WWE championship at Wrestlemania with the four people who do that type of match better than anybody.

Next we have JBL vs. Cena for the World Heavyweight championship. Winner: JBL.

But he will win with the assist of Shawn Michaels. This will lead to the ultmiate break up of JBL and HBK and carry them into No Way Out. Where we will probably see a Steel Cage Match with HBK, JBL and Cena for the title. With the victory going to HBK allowing him to go into Wrestlemania with the championship.

I don't think Michaels has many more years with the company and this would be a good opportunity to have him have one more big title match at the big show. This of course leads into who will win the 30 man Royal Rumble Match.

The 30 Man Royal Rumble Match, Winner - two possiblities: 1. The Undertaker and 2. Chris Jericho.

If Taker wins he can go after Michaels for the title. The two of them to my recollection have never had a Wrestlemania match, and who better than to end Undertakers winning streak at the rumble than the man who ended Rick Flair's career at the last wrestlemania, Shawn Michaels.

It would be a great match up of two classics competing in the modern stage to battle it out for the title.

My second choice of Chris Jericho is also someone who would target Michaels for his belt. They had the best feud of 2008, and to say that its over between the two of them is an understatement. Every time the two have faced each other at a PPV or at Wrestlemania they have stolen the show. The two of them have such chemistry in the ring that it will no doubt be a match for the ages.
