Liverpool FC: 5 Youngsters That Kenny Dalglish Should Target
For me, players like Steve Gerrard and Luis Suarez are the only world class players Liverpool have, and without Champion's League football, Kenny Dalglish will find it very difficult to attract world class players.
However, it could be argued that Liverpool FC has never signed a world class player, and perhaps never will. Consider players like Xabi Alonso, Pepe Reina, Fernando Torres and Mascherano.
On that list, none of those players were world class when they were signed. However, they did progress to become world class players. It was the same situation as Rush, John Barnes, Hughes and Keegan.
I think that we need to focus more on making the stars rather than buying ready-made stars. Because the likes of Downing, Bellamy, Andy Carroll, and Charlie Adam just aren’t the missing gems to move this struggling team forward rather than backwards. Those footballers are good squad players, but not quite ready as first team players.
However, It could also be said that world class players go to big clubs, especially if you offer a ridiculously high salary. To an extent, that's why "Citeh" has been able to build such a strong team and cause all sorts of problems.
However I put together five talented youngsters that would make a dramatic change to the current squad.
So let's go!
Sergio Canales
1 of 6Name: Sergio Canales
DOB: 16 Feb 1991 (Age 21)
Role: Attacking Midfielder
Sergio Canales has been a terrific player, and quite frankly, I would have him over Charlie Adam. Canales has been struggling to get into Real Madrid's first team ever since he joined Real Madrid. He is now on loan to Valencia.

Rodrigo Moreno Machado
2 of 6Name: Rodrigo Moreno Machado
DOB: 6 March 1991 (Age 21)
Role: Striker/Winger
Rodrigo Moreno Machado has been a fantastic player. Liverpool FC would be crazy not to get him on loan at least. This player has true ability, and I would feel happy to see this young lad to LFC. He has far more "tekkers" (technique) than Andy Carroll.

Price tag: 7 million
Nico Gaitán
3 of 6Name: Nico Gaitán
DOB: 23 February 1988 (age 24) (may not be a youngster, but still fits the bill)
Role: Striker/Winger
I can't help but keep visualising Gaitán and Luis Suarez on the same team. Those two will rip apart the English Premier League with their twists, turns and energy. It has been said that Man United has been interested, but I would like to see him at Anfield.

Julian Draxler
4 of 6Name: Julian Draxler
DOB: 20 September 1993 (age 18)
Role: Midfielder
Julian Draxler is a fantastic example of a young and upcoming superstar. This player does not only have an eye for the goal, but also has the technique, which most players at LFC lack. Julian Draxler is linked to Arsenal, but which youngster isn't?

Price tag: 17 million
Eden Hazard
5 of 6Name: Eden Hazard
DOB: 7 January 1991 (age 21)
Role: Attacking Midfielder/Winger
Eden Hazard had to be on this list. He is far more technically gifted than Downing. Downing does have technique, however he's six minutes slower than Hazard on the pitch.
Having Eden Hazard on the LFC side not only means instant success, but also means the squad will find that confidence they were looking for.
As much as I hate to say it, it's very unlikely that he would come to Liverpool. Although he did say he would join a team with history.
