Jacksonville Jaguars Schedule: Complete Schedule and Quick Hit Thoughts

The NFL released the complete 2012 schedule for the Jacksonville Jaguars Tuesday night.

I'll post a game by game prediction for the Jaguars in the next few days, but here are my quick-hit thoughts.

• Fast Start: The Jaguars' first five games aren't easy, but it's a stretch where the team can do some damage. The two early road tests are against teams that were terrible in 2011, and the three home games are all winnable. If the Jaguars are to surprise in 2012, they have to get off to a 4-1 or 3-2 start.

• Hold on Tight: The bye week leads into a tough stretch with rough road trips to Oakland and Green Bay, followed by home games against the Lions and the Colts. A split of those four games would be a major coup for the Jags.

• A Yearly Classic:The Jaguars' lone prime-time game (barring a late-season flex) is a Thursday night special against the Colts and (presumably) Andrew Luck. Every team was promised one prime-time game, and the Jaguars will take theirs at home against the team they always seem to play on Thursday: Indianapolis.
