The Brazilian right-back dashes into an unmarked area and blasts a screamer of a shot from well outside the penalty area past Spurs' goalkeeper Paul Robinson to put Chelsea out in front of their hated London rivals.

Stevie G saves his beloved Reds yet again with a high curler to seal Aston Villa's fate and deliver his side three points away from the comforts of Anfield in the dying moments of the game.

3) Tim Cahill (Everton) vs Chelsea

Collecting a cross from former Everton midfielder James McFadden, Tim Cahill rescues his Toffees in the 89th minute with a brilliant bicycle kick past a helpless Petr Cech--leaving Avram Grant and the crowd at Stamford Bridge silenced.

Appearing for the second time on the top five goals list, the former England number one goalkeeper gets burned yet again by a bullet of a shot by Arsenal wonderkid Cesc Fabregas. Nearing the end of the North London derby, Fabregas broke the deadlock as he left the crowd at White Hart Lane silenced and the commentator in absolute awe.

1) Cristiano Ronaldo (Manchester United) vs Portsmouth

It wasn't the typical trademark David Beckham or Juninho free kick but it certainly wasn't stoppable by any stretch of the imagination. Without any swerve or spin behind the ball, Cristiano Ronaldo drove the ball into the top corner with pace and precision. 

When asked by a reporter after the game, Ronaldo was left marvelling at his own display of pure quality.

"I think that has to be the best free kick I've scored," said Cristiano Ronaldo.

"When you see the ball hit the back of the net after a free kick like that, it's a fantastic feeling."
