Broncos Male Cheerleader Video: Watch Denver Man Bring Jazz at Broncos Tryouts
I'm not sure if this was one of those gag performances my wife forces me to watch on So You Think You Can Dance, or if Sacha Heppell was really serious about his attempt to become a Denver Broncos cheerleader.
Either way, it ended in much the same fashion as those attempts in front of Nigel Lythgoe and the crew on one of America's favorite dance shows.
Bidding to become the first-ever male NFL cheerleader, I suppose you could give Heppell an A for effort, as he spiritedly showed us what he was all about in this video.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈

Heppell was like a mixture of Martin Short and Mikhail Baryshnikov—but sadly, that combination didn't land him on the Broncos' sidelines.
Heppell said he would be back at the 2013 tryouts to give it another go. He'll likely be joined by a few Heppell disciples inspired by his gumption to break through the NFL's cheerleader gender barrier.
If Heppell had achieved his goal and become a Broncos cheerleader, it would have been major news.
The last time a Denver sideline would have received that much attention, Tim Tebow was still a backup QB.
For now, the ladies will handle the cheering duties for Peyton Manning and company. We'll have to see if Heppell has better luck at next season's tryouts.
