Today, we chat with Blythe Brumleve, the Founder and Lead Writer for GuysGirl.com. She is an award-winning writer for both GuysGirl and Awful Announcing and is also a published author with her first book geared towards showing women the rules along with the culture of today's NFL titled "A Girl's Guide to Football Fanaticism".

Blythe is a Jaguars' season-ticket holder, and the poster girl for the Jaguars franchise.

B/R: Compare and contrast the early days of the Mike Mularkey era to the Jack Del Rio era. What has changed?

BB: When Del Rio first arrived in Jacksonville, there was a ton of excitement. He came in with the attitude that was a very stark contrast from the strict Tom Coughlin ways that fans had grown tired of. Jack was a "players' coach" who wanted to "take the city back" so fans gravitated towards him very quickly. 

The reception to Mularkey has been a reaction I can best categorize as "Meh...". Most fans aren't angry about the arrival, but they aren't excited, either. Mularkey will have a much shorter leash than Del Rio or Coughlin ever did. Jag fans are hungry, and if we aren't playoff-bound in the next couple seasons, fans will be calling for Mularkey's head.

B/R: How does Jacksonville feel about Shad Kahn?

BB: After the initial panic of "Weaver is selling the team?!" left, fans have grasped onto Khan and his popular mustache like sweet tea and BBQ chicken. The first Monday Night Game after the ownership change was announced, 25,000 fake mustaches were given out by a local company, and fans made signs showing their support for the new owner.

In addition to fans liking the mustache, there was a recent poll in the local news that stated  Khan had over 80 percent approval rating, proving fans genuinely believe he will do amazing things for the team and city.
