2012 NFL Draft: Charlie Batch Ranks Top 5 Quarterbacks

Is this the year of the QB in the NFL draft? If you look at the top, there’s no denying that Andrew Luck and Robert Griffin III are stealing most of the headlines.

However, there are many other QBs who will make noise in the 2012 NFL Draft.

Long-time Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Charlie Batch joins NFLDraft365, ranking his top five signal-callers. Yes, you know one and two, but Batch really likes Ryan Tannehill.

The Texas A&M quarterback is causing most of the stir lately. Will the Dolphins take him at No. 8? Or will Cleveland make a move at No. 4? Tannehill has a lot of teams drooling and thinking trade.

This draft also has a 28 year-old quarterback in Brandon Weeden. Is he too old for a rebuilding team to take? Or will a team on the cusp of the playoffs roll the dice on the former minor league pitcher?

Rounding out Batch’s top five is Michigan State’s Kirk Cousins. Batch has seen a lot of Cousins and thinks any NFL team will be lucky to get him.
