2012 NFL Mock Draft Big Board: Ranking the Fullbacks and Tight Ends
As we all know, the NFL is becoming more of a passing league. More offenses are reverting to three- and four-receiver sets, tight ends are breaking receiving records and quarterbacks are throwing the ball over 40 times a game.
There isn't a great need for fullbacks anymore, but the class of 2012 has a group of potential starters and immediate contributors.
Tight ends, on the other hand, are being utilized more than ever. Teams are looking for players with athleticism at the position with quickness, versatility and the ability to take on swift cornerbacks.
