WWE Rumors: Brock Lesnar, John Cena, Scott Hall and Wednesday's Top WWE News
While WWE is not suffering from the usual post-WrestleMania hangover, there are clear signs that the creative team is lost with what to do.
For instance, we saw last night on SmackDown that Daniel Bryan, not Alberto Del Rio, was given a world title match at Extreme Rules. If you recall the stipulation from last week, Del Rio beat Sheamus to earn a title shot.
That's a small matter, and I am certainly not complaining about Bryan getting the shot, but there is just no consistency.

Anyway, we will have all the latest news and notes from the world of WWE as we move closer to the Extreme Rules pay-per-view at the end of the month.
BROCK LESNAR & JOHN CENA CAN'T MOVE THE WWE NEEDLE
While a large portion of WWE fans celebrated the return of Lesnar to WWE, it didn't do enough to keep the ratings moving up. The show tumbled three percentage points to a 3.1 overall rating for last night's show.
Question on Everybody's Mind: What does this mean for the Extreme Rules buy rate?
Our Take: In theory, it should mean nothing since over four million people still watched the show. But it is telling just how much of an event-driven business wrestling is today. In the past, if someone like Lesnar showed up, it meant big things. Now, it really means nothing.
Hype Meter: 5 out of 5 Ratings Trends
WWE put all its eggs in the Lesnar basket, hoping for ratings and buy rates. After one week, it would appear that the former is not going to get better. It will be interesting to see how the Extreme Rules show does just four weeks after WrestleMania and one week after one of the biggest UFC events of the year.

SCOTT HALL'S LIFE KEEPS SPIRALING DOWNWARD
Just when you think you have seen the lowest possible point for Scott Hall, something else happens that completely changes the perception of the former WWE Intercontinental Champion. The latest indiscretion saw him get arrested for domestic disturbance involving his girlfriend.
Question on Everybody's Mind: How depressing is Hall's life now?
Our Take: It's about as sad a story as there is in wrestling. Here was a guy who was one of the biggest stars in the world in his prime, but his demons have taken control of his life. The news just keeps getting darker with each passing day.
Hype Meter: 5 out of 5 Sad Stories
People have reached out to Hall to try and get him the help that he needs. For reasons known only to him, Hall hasn't acted on the requests. He is going to end up doing more damage to himself and others before all is said and done.

CHRISTIAN READY TO GET KNOCKED OUT BY BIG SHOW
Since his ankle injury forced him off the WrestleMania card, Christian's immediate future has been up in the air. He may not be coming back right away, but there are reports that his first feud will be with none other than the Big Show over the Intercontinental title.
Question on Everybody's Mind: Why are these two battling over a secondary title?
Our Take: It never ceases to amaze just how much WWE has changed over the years. When the Intercontinental title was a big deal, it was given to one of the rising stars to give them a bump. Now, it is all about putting a shiny gold toy on someone's shoulder.
Hype Meter: 4 out of 5 Killswitches Engaged
Even if the Intercontinental title still meant something, having two stars like Big Show and Christian battle over it would not make much sense. On the plus side, it will get Christian back in the ring and give Show someone good to work with.

RING RUST RADIO PREDICTS THE LESNAR-CENA WINNER
With everyone running around making predictions about what will happen with the Brock Lesnar-John Cena match at Extreme Rules, it only made sense for Ring Rust Radio to tackle the subject on its latest episode.
Question on Everybody's Mind: So, who is coming out on top?
Our Take: While opinions were mixed on what would happen, everyone was in agreement that Lesnar had to go over in some form. We shall see if WWE steals the idea of it happening in a glorified squash match.
Hype Meter: 5 out of 5 Very Early Predictions
With two weeks to go before the pay-per-view, giving a prediction is a little silly. What will be more interesting than who wins is the buy rate for the show. WWE has designs on Lesnar serving as a financial savior, so he has to give the company what they want right away.
