After Andrei Arshavin, Who is Next on Monsieur Wenger's Transfer List?
It looks like Andrei Arshavin will be a Gunner by February and Arsenal will finally have a decent replacement for the injured Tomas Rosicky and Theo Walcott. But Arsene Wenger still needs to sign at least another midfielder or defender. So who will it be?
Blaise Matuidi
The French U-21 and Saint Etienne defensive midfielder looks to be the next Vieira with his stunning passing and outstanding vision. Wenger was reportedly very keen to sign the midfielder in January but there has yet to be any sort of talking between the two clubs.

Matthew Upson
The former Gunner who is currently at West Ham is said to be very high on Wenger's shopping list. The center half, who spent six years at Arsenal without setting the world on fire, is supposed to be swapped with Arsenal forward Nicklas Bendtner. But Bendtner's recent form may mean Wenger will go all out cash.
Shay Given
The Newcastle keeper who is built with experience and skill is being chased by a host of clubs, Arsenal included. Arsene Wenger is unlikely to have the Irish 'keeper on his squad but by the end of January things good be different.
Carlos Tevez
Since Dimitar Berbatov moved to Manchester United, Carlos Tevez has been unable to break into the starting XI despite scoring some quality goals. The Argentinean has been linked with many clubs who promised the striker with serious amounts of game time. But with Arsenal's current forward pack it is hard to see Tevez really breaking through.
Steven Defour
The highly rated youngster who is most suited in the midfield is headed for big things. He is currently with Belgium Standard Liege who to be fair are not the biggest club. Defour would be suited nicely at Arsenal so let's hope Wenger can capture the 20-year-old star.
Fabian Delph
A hugely talented teenager who plays in the midfield. Delph currently plays for Leeds United which hints that it would not be the hardest thing convincing the youngster to play for a club like Arsenal.
Brede Hangeland
The Fulham center half is solid and reliable plus consistent. He would be useful to Arsenal but it would come at a price. Fulham would no doubt hate to give away their Norwegian defender.
Jimmy Bullard
The Fulham veteran who is a reliable center midfielder would come in handy at Arsenal. With the Gunners midfield injuries Bullard's experience and leadership would be incredibly wanted at Arsenal.
