Mikhail Prokhorov's Gag Kickboxing Challenge of Mark Cuban Truly Hilarious
Well, Deron Williams may cause quite the fight between NBA teams this offseason.
Literally.
Well, sort of literally. Mikhail Prokhorov recently had some interesting words about the possibility of Deron Williams leaving the New Jersey Nets for Mark Cuban and the Dallas Mavericks.
And by interesting, I of course mean hilarious.
"Prokhorov on Mark Cuban competing for D-Will: "Let the best man win. If he wins, I will crush him in kickboxing throwdown." (!!)
— Ken Berger (@KBergCBS) April 10, 2012"
All I could think about was the scene shown below but with the crowd chanting "DE-RON WILL-IAMS" while Prokhorov and Cuban (sporting that awesome ponytail) squared off in the middle of the court at Brooklyn's new arena.
You can even add Jay-Z squawking like an eagle to really sell the scene, and Dirk Nowitzki sitting in the corner, demanding Cuban get up mid-beating.
Tell me you aren't smiling right now.
Of course, this will be the only butt-whupping the Nets do next year if they lose Deron Williams, this summer's premier free agent.
Plus, without him, the chances of landing Dwight Howard at some point grow even slimmer than they already appear.
But hey, there is always the kickboxing throwdown. And Jay-Z squawking like an eagle. And nobody can take that away from you, Nets fans.
Hit me up on Twitter—my tweets are growing a playoff beard.
