A Punch-Up and a Clear-Out?

The fallout continues following Manchester City's loss to Arsenal on Sunday.

Not long after the match, the club denied rumors of a post-match punch-up in the dressing room.

According to talkSport, former City player Rodney Marsh is saying a summer clear-out is possible.

“I think there is a possibility there could be an enormous clear-out, and when I say enormous, I mean like six or seven or even eight players gone, possibly even the manager, because Man City are a great football team, a great football club and if they’re going to challenge next year they have to go out all guns blazing, all the time for a whole 90 minutes for a whole season."

One of the players in question could be Adam Johnson, who is wanted by Sunderland, according to Metro.

Dalglish Out? Suarez Too?

Uncertainty also reigns at Anfield as Liverpool tumble down the table.

According to the Daily Star, Uruguayan forward Luis Suarez will quit the club if manager Kenny Dalglish is fired.

That might happen soon.

According to the Daily Mail, Liverpool's American owners will meet with Dalglish on Saturday ahead of the FA Cup clash with Everton.

Dempsey Plays Coy

American fans will be interested to know the latest about Clint Dempsey, who scored twice more this weekend for Fulham.

According to British tabloid The Sun, Dempsey has declined to rule out a summer transfer.

Andrea Pirlo wants former AC Milan teammate Alessandro Nesta at Juventus.

Per Mertesacker may have already played his final game for Arsenal.

The giant German defender, signed at the transfer deadline last summer, has been out of the squad in recent weeks through injury.

Mirror Football, citing an unspecified report, says he'll be sold this summer.

Arsenal have been linked with Belgian central defender Jan Vertonghen, who currently plays for Ajax.

Rossi out at Villarreal?

Finally, Goal.com says Italian striker Giuseppi Rossi could leave Villarreal this summer.

Duh, you say? Well, this time it's Rossi's own words.
