In an announcement made by Farm Bureau Insurance Racing and Joe Gibbs Racing, Farm Bureau Insurance will be sponsoring six Sprint Cup events in 2009. In 2008, Farm Bureau Insurance sponsored JGR in their Nationwide series.

They sponsored seven events last year and was the main sponsor for Kyle Busch in his Nationwide victory at Texas Motor Speedway in November of 2008.

“Farm Bureau Insurance has been an outstanding partner with us and we’re thrilled to have them on these six Cup races this year,” said Joe Gibbs Racing President J.D. Gibbs.

“We were able to generate a lot of excitement for them last year and we’ll work hard this year to provide their agents, members and customers a program to be proud of now in our Cup program.”(JGR PR)

According to Farm Bureau Insurance Racing's website, they will be the sponsor for the No. 11 car driven by Denny Hamlin at the Darlington race on May 9, and the Atlanta race on Sept. 6.

They also announced that they will be the sponsor for the No. 20 car driven by Joey Logano at the Martinsville race on Oct. 25. Fed Ex and Home Depot will still be represented on their respected entry.

Farm Bureau also announced that they will be the sponsor of a fourth JGR entry at three other races. They will be sponsoring the No. 02 car at Charlotte, Texas, and the season finale at Homestead.

No word from JGR on who will be the driver at these races, although Brad Coleman is speculated to be the driver.
