SEC Football Tweets of the Week
Every Friday on The SEC Blog, we will feature the best SEC-related Tweets of the Week.
The Bobby Petrino situation taught us again this week that Twitter is one of the world's best sources for breaking news and information, including the trials and tribulations of beat writers covering breaking news. Chris Bahn of ArkansasSports360.com shared some insight into the situation.
"At some point I'm going to need food and a bathroom. And a plug in for my computer. And a more comfortable place to sit.
— Chris Bahn (@cbahn) April 5, 2012"
We can only hope that Chris found what he was looking for.
Clay Travis of OutKickTheCoverage.com compared the Bobby Petrino scandal to another infamous Arkansas debacle.
"I feel bad for Arkansas fans. This is the Clint Stoerner fumble of SEC coaching scandals.
— Clay Travis (@ClayTravisBGID) April 5, 2012"
A scary neck injury forced Auburn linebacker Jawara White to give up football, but White doesn't want you to feel sorry for him. He gave this sendoff to the Auburn Family.
"Walking away from the game is better than being carried out. Thanks for the prayers #salute to THE AUBURN TIGER NATION
— Jawara White (@_jwhite38) April 5, 2012"
Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray has his favorite for The Masters, and—like most people—he'd rather be in Augusta.
"Would do anything to be out there watching Tiger whoop some butt
— Aaron Murray (@aaronmurray11) April 5, 2012"
That makes two of us, Aaron. That makes two of us.
