An Easter-Basket Treat the Fans of Each NHL Team Really Deserve
The Easter holiday is approaching, and for 16 NHL teams, so are the Stanley Cup playoffs.
The teams not in the playoffs will also be hard at work over the next few months to ensure they are well-prepared for the NHL Draft and the beginning of free agency.
Let's look at what sort of Easter-basket treat the fans of each NHL team really deserve.
Anaheim Ducks: A Bruce Boudreau Contract Extension
1 of 30Bruce Boudreau has done well with the Anaheim Ducks this season and for a while they were still in the Western Conference playoff-race. He's a good fit in Anaheim and should be the coach there for years to come.
Boston Bruins: Tuukka Rask's Health
2 of 30Even though backup goalie Anton Khudobin looked good against the Ottawa Senators on Thursday night in a 3-1 victory, the Boston Bruins still need goalie Tuukka Rask to be healthy enough to back-up Tim Thomas in the playoffs.
Buffalo Sabres: Bad Contracts Moved
3 of 30A real treat for Sabres' fans would be moving some of the bad contracts the team has on its payroll for next season, chief among them is forward Ville Leino's lengthy, overpaid deal.
Calgary Flames: Make Decision on Future
4 of 30The Calgary Flames need to rebuild, It's inevitable. However, the team doesn't seem ready to go in that direction. With Jarome Iginla entering the final year of his deal, a decision on the team's future must be made soon.
Carolina Hurricanes: A Top-Line Center

Chicago Blackhawks: Jonathan Toews' Health

Colorado Avalanche: Strong Final Game for Gabriel Landeskog

Columbus Blue Jackets: A Real No. 1 Goalie

Dallas Stars: A Good Draft
9 of 30Not many people thought the Dallas Stars were going to compete for the Pacific Division title this season, but the team really played well throughout the year. With a good draft, the franchise could return to the playoffs next season.
Detroit Red Wings: Nicklas Lidstrom Returning
10 of 30Nicklas Lidstrom has played very well this season and still shows very little signs of regression. If he feels fine physically, then he should certainly come back for another season. Fans everywhere would love if Lidstrom gave it one more go.
Edmonton Oilers: A Top-Tier Defenseman
11 of 30If the Edmonton Oilers could find a good, young defenseman to go with their abundance of young offensive talent, the team would be a playoff contender in the near future.
Florida Panthers: Southeast Division Title
12 of 30The Florida Panthers would much rather clinch the No. 3 seed and the Southeast Division title and have to face the New Jersey Devils in the first round than finish with the No. 8 seed and open the playoffs against the New York Rangers.
Los Angeles Kings: Pacific Division Title
13 of 30The Los Angeles Kings haven't had home ice in the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs since the early 1990s, so winning the Pacific Division title this year and securing the No. 3 seed would be a great treat for their fans.

Montreal Canadiens: Re-Sign PK Subban and Carey Price

San Jose Sharks: Pacific Division Title
24 of 30The San Jose Sharks would love to win the Pacific Division and avoid the Vancouver Canucks or St. Louis Blue in the first round. They would much rather be the No. 3 seed and play a Chicago Blackhawks team with shaky goaltending and possibly no Jonathan Toews.
St. Louis Blues: Timely Scoring
25 of 30The St. Louis Blues have the best goaltending tandem in the NHL right now with Jaroslav Halak and Brian Elliott, but they need their forwards to score more goals in the playoffs. Timely scoring will be key to the team's Stanley Cup chances.
Tampa Bay Lightning: 60 Goals for Steven Stamkos

Vancouver Canucks: Luongo Dominates Round 1
