WWE Rumors: Brock Lesnar, John Cena, Undertaker and Friday's Top WWE News
As we end the week, it would be as good a time as any to look at what has transpired in WWE over the last five days.
Obviously, the biggest story was WrestleMania 28. That event is the pinnacle of everything WWE does each year, and you can feel it when the show is on the air.
The return of Brock Lesnar kept the talk going, not because it was a surprise but because of the way it was handled. There are still a lot of questions to be asked, but for one night WWE hit a home run.

BROCK LESNAR HELD OFF WRESTLEMANIA FOR STORYLINE PURPOSES
There was some talk that Lesnar would make his return to WWE at WrestleMania. WWE wisely decided to hold off on bringing him in until Raw because the company wanted to end the story between Rock and John Cena.
Question on Everybody's Mind: So we aren't getting a Rock-Cena rematch/trilogy?
Our Take: That would actually be a good thing. There are very few instances where those kinds of things work, and neither Rock or Cena is good enough in the ring to keep fans interested in more matches. Plus, if another match was made after labeling this a "Once In a Lifetime Battle," it would be a slap in the face to those who bought the original match.
Hype Meter: 5 out of 5 Smart Moves
Bringing Lesnar in the day after WrestleMania was brilliant for many reasons. Chief among them, if WWE used him on a pay-per-view, even for a run-in, without advertising it, they would have missed out on more buys.

JOHN CENA PENCILED IN TO MATCH WITH UNDERTAKER
With rumors running around earlier this week about a potential Brock Lesnar-Rock match at WrestleMania 29, it would seem that Cena needs something big to work towards for next year's show. The latest rumor running around would have him locking up with Undertaker.
Question on Everybody's Mind: Is that the right call for either star?
Our Take: Nothing against Cena as a performer, but he is not the kind of worker Undertaker can have a match with at this stage of his career. There has been a high standard set for Undertaker matches at WrestleMania in recent years, and Cena isn't good enough to keep that streak going.
Hype Meter: 5 out of 5 Reasons For Undertaker to Retire
Unless WWE has a change of heart and gives Undertaker a match with Lesnar, or someone like that, it is going to be difficult for him to put up the effort needed to match what he has done with Edge, Shawn Michaels and Triple H in the last five years.

WWE DOESN'T EXPECT "YES!" TO BE THE NEW "WHAT?"
In a surprising development that no one could have seen coming, WWE officials don't believe that Daniel Bryan's popularity or his new chant will be here to stay. With any luck, they will be proven wrong.
Question on Everybody's Mind: Is WWE right or wrong?
Our Take: Obviously, we will not know the real answer until Monday night, but given the strong backlash to his match at WrestleMania, I wouldn't be surprised to see it stick around, at least to some degree, for a while.
Hype Meter: 5 out of 5 Reasons Yes Is Better Than What
Don't be shocked if WWE does everything in its power to make sure that fans stop chanting for Bryan. We have seen the wrath that Vince McMahon can take on someone he doesn't want to push.

MTV REALLY WANTS THE MIZ
They always say you can go home again, and Miz is finding that he can make appearances on MTV and the network's Twitter feed wrote that it would do anything to get him back hosting "The Challenge" show again.
"ANYTHING??? RT @MTV: I'd pay anything to see @MikeTheMiz back on a challenge. Who's with me? #Exes
"
"— The Miz (@mikethemiz) April 5, 2012"
Question on Everybody's Mind: Will Miz be taking his talents back to MTV?
Our Take: Considering where his WWE career has gone since WrestleMania last year, it wouldn't be the worst idea in the world. He might not make as much money, but he wouldn't be made to look like a dork either.
Hype Meter: 3 out of 5 Reality TV Shows
Miz needs some kind of reinvention in WWE. His biggest problem, to me, is he is miscast as a heel. No one can take him seriously as a bad guy with the faux-hawk and perfectly clean babyface.
