Modern-Day Dream Matches 💭

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
In-Ring Segment with Teddy Long and John Laurinaitis
SmackDown opens with an in-ring segment between the new general manager of both Raw and SmackDown, John Laurinaitis, and the now jobless Teddy Long.
It’ll be interesting to see what Laurinaitis has to say to Long, who had been the on-and-off SmackDown GM since way back in 2004. Until now.
Mark Henry and David Otunga vs. R-Truth in a Handicapped Match
Yes, the crazed R-Truth takes on both Henry and Otunga in this two-on-one encounter.
Randy Orton vs. Kane in a No DQ Match
In this WrestleMania rematch, Orton looks to avenge his Mania loss to Kane, and this time, neither superstar can be disqualified.
Kane and Orton faced off in a great Street Fight last summer, so I have pretty high expectations for this match, which should fit Kane’s brawling style well.
A Debuting Superstar faces local competitor Barry Stevens
A familiar face debuts on the Blue Brand in a match against a local competitor, and let’s just say that he has a different look to him these days.
Interview with Daniel Bryan
What will the former World Heavyweight Champion have to say about his quick loss to Sheamus at WrestleMania 28?
The Big Show vs. Heath Slater in a non-title match
Cody Rhodes joins in on commentary as Big Show has his first match as the new Intercontinental Champion.
Will Cody be looking for revenge on the man who ended his eight-month title reign?
Nikki Bella vs. Beth Phoenix in a non-title match
One half of the Bella Twins (who I guess is a baby face now?) looks to take out the Divas Champion and perhaps earn a future title shot.
Alberto Del Rio vs. Sheamus in a non-title match
New World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus takes on Del Rio in SmackDown’s main event in a match that was set up on this week’s episode of Raw.
ADR seems to have his sights set on Sheamus and his World title, but Daniel Bryan could be lurking around.
Note: As part of the new WWE blog, I'll be asking all of the B/R wrestling readers for questions for a new mailbag that I will post on Fridays. It will be a slideshow featuring 10-20 questions and answers on a wide range of topics. You can submit questions either through Formspring or Twitter, and the best ones will be answered in the B/R mailbag.
