Giant Nick Diaz Fan Gets a Horrible Nick Diaz Tattoo on His Chest

I realize that some of you could probably be classified as superfans of mixed martial arts. And for some of you, that also applies to your favorite fighter. You overlook their wrongdoings and blame anyone but your favorite dude for their mistakes. You buy their walkout shirts, listen to the same music they do and relentlessly stalk them on Twitter in hopes of getting a classic-yet-pointless "RT" that will make you the coolest guy or gal in your circle of friends.

I get it. It's part of being a fan.

But then there are people like this guy. 

Yes, you're seeing that correctly. This Nick Diaz superfan, who we'll call by his Internet handle of "dwrecked2000" only because I could not track down his actual name—got some permanent ink of Diaz and his famous PRIDE 33 submission of Takanori Gomi implanted right there on his chest, for the entire world and his eventual grandchildren to see.

That takes courage of a different sort, folks. And by courage I mean what seems to be an astounding lack of intelligence.

I have a tattoo. It's a small one on my finger, and now that I am in my 30s, I've come to regret my decision to ever have myself inked. This guy has NICK DIAZ tattooed on his chest.

I don't know how old he is, but I strongly suspect he has roughly 40 years of regret and patronizing glances from his future wife to look forward to.
