Arkansas Football: OL Jason Peacock Back at Practice After Suspension
Arkansas got some good news this week with the news that starting offensive tackle Jason Peacock was back at practice after being suspended for an arrest for felony theft.
So, is his suspension lifted?
According to Chris Bahn of ArkansasSports360.com, offensive coordinator Paul Petrino wouldn't elaborate on Peacock's status, but did confirm that he was back practicing with the team.
Peacock was arrested last month for allegedly using a stolen debit card to buy $36.01 worth of gas. Peacock reportedly confirmed to police that he used the card shortly after being arrested.
Having Peacock back is big for the Razorbacks.
Continuity is a big part of building a successful offensive line, and as the first-team left tackle, Peacock is being counted on to protect quarterback Tyler Wilson's blind side.
Arkansas allowed 28 sacks last season. That will have to improve if the Hogs want to take the next step and be considered national title contenders.
