Seahawks New Uniforms 2012: Nike Duds Are Best in Team History

Every team in the NFL is getting Nike-sized, and the Seattle Seahawks have to be one of the early favorites for best makeover. This is a team that has traditionally worn some of the league's worse uniforms, but now thanks to the swoosh, they will be playing in style.

Let's start off with the helmet.

The emblem of course stays intact. I've always loved the angry bird look, even before the iPhone and Android app craze. The logo touching in the back from opposite sides is hot, as well as the deep blue color of the helmet itself.

Not a lot of change, but solid.

The puzzle piece gloves are off the chain. The NFL continues its emulation of collegiate football's fashion and style. Now, not just Crimson Tide players will be bringing the team logos together with their hands.

You also gotta love the usage of the neon colors. The team from the Emerald City has to have some neon green, but in past years there was some overkill. Not this time, just a dab will do.

The home jerseys bring the nice dark blue from head to toe. It's cool and menacing. 

The blue striping on the shoulders is further tight design for the Seahawks, on the home jerseys the neon green Nike badge stands out like a bike reflector.

I mean that in a good way.

All that's missing is some skittles—the green ones of course.
