Modern-Day Dream Matches 💭

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
I spent the weekend in Miami—at Sun Life Stadium, in hotels, on the street, in bars and in the bathroom of a Miami bar—and the same chants were heard everywhere.
“Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes!”
Daniel Bryan opened the WrestleMania 28 pay-per-view and lost his world heavyweight championship crown in 18 seconds, and he is more popular than ever has been.
Now keep in mind, this was WrestleMania: The more intelligent wrestling fans all gathered in one city.
In addition to the love of sustaining a fan-fraternity atmosphere with their chants, companies such as ROH and DGUSA were running shows in the area that have the fans who are traditionally big Daniel Bryan fans.
It will be interesting to see if the chants continue for the weeks to come or if they leave the wrestling arena crowd routine, like LeBron did for Miami from Cleveland.
If I had to guess, it's going to catch on. It's easy to say, easy to say it in unison, to the rhythm of moves in the ring and its obnoxious.
I mean that in the most positive way. Saying “What” in between someone's words is an obnoxious staple with wrestling fans, just like screaming “Wooo” over and over to echo a building. Those chants all were organic and over.
Those chants are still over!
The challenge is going to be if the "Yes" chant becomes one for a fun crowd or if it can stay associated to Daniel Bryan.
Bryan did the "Yes" chants when he was the title holder and would win his matches. Well, as of this writing, he isn't the champion anymore and has a sour attitude towards AJ, his "girlfriend."
There isn't much for him to chant "Yes" about.
It will be interesting to see how much investment WWE takes in the chants and how they measure it to success of Daniel Bryan.
