WrestleMania 28 Results: Potential Spoilers for WWE's Biggest Show of the Year

Donald WoodApr 1, 2012

With WrestleMania knocking on our door, the rumors and spoilers surrounding the WWE’s biggest show of the year are coming fast and furious.

Huge names like Brock Lesnar, Batista and others have been rumored to return to the WWE this week, but their exact plans are still uncertain.

All of the following rumors are up to the second, and we will keep you updated as more info becomes available.

The Return of Brock Lesnar

With increasing talk about Lesnar’s secret meetings with the WWE and a possible one-year contract, the WWE universe has caught fire pre-WrestleMania with talk of this possible return.

Lesnar is a bona fide star who sold millions of PPV buys for UFC during his tenure with the company. WWE saw that and wants a piece of the action again.

While the way his time in UFC ended will definitely kill some of him momentum, he is still legitimately strong and crazy. Having him return to WWE as a monster heel would be amazing for the company.

Moving Lord Tensai’s Return Back

While there was a strong belief that Matt Bloom, A.K.A. Lord Tensai, would re-debut with the WWE at WrestleMania, the Lesnar situation may have pushed the plans back.

Having Lord Tensai debut on the Raw after WrestleMania would give the fans something to stick around for when some of the biggest stars on this card go away from the sport for awhile.

It’s obvious that the WWE doesn’t want to lose the momentum created by this WrestleMania, so it will bury the fact that The Rock and Undertaker are leaving for awhile by bringing back other stars like Bloom and Lesnar.

Batista a WWE Superstar Again?

While many fans didn’t like Batista during his first run with the WWE, the need for serious heels is evident every week for WWE. That’s why the WWE may be re-signing the former star.

As much as the need for strong heels may change over time, Batista is the Randy Orton-type of wrestler that is the same character whether he is good or bad.

Batista may not be the best worker, but he knew how to get over with the crowd and he fit the mold of a WWE superstar. After his journey into MMA, maybe his ring work will be better.
