Nike NFL Uniforms: Don't Expect Big Changes with New Look
Don't worry. The NFL is not going to have a flood of Nike released Oregon Ducks type of uniforms. These changes will be far more subtle.
There were some designs floating around the Internet, like the ones in the main photo, that displayed a shocking change in the uniforms. Those, or anything close to the dramatically different, will not happen.
I can say this with confidence because, even though the uniforms will not be debuted until April 3, Nike, or even the team, does not have the final say on what the new logos will look like.

The NFL has that honor. And the NFL is not big on sweeping dramatic changes.
Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio shared this quote from NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy on the subject:
"Logos are controlled by teams and the NFL. That will not change. Teams have to apply to league to make changes to logos and colors.
"
There will be changes, but the majority of these changes will not be visible to the eye. Florio quoted McCarthy on this subject as well:
"We anticipate new uniform technology (i.e., performance-driven, lighter materials).
"
To get a taste of the kind of subtle changes we can expect, take a look at the Panthers new logo.
That picture is not a test. It is not one of those things where you have to study the two pictures to find the differences. That is the "dramatic" changes that the Panthers will be displaying with Nike. The new image is the one on the right.
And not every team is going to change their logo at all. Teams like the Bears, Raiders, Cowboys, Chiefs and Packers likely won't have a single change to their iconic logos.
These uniforms may be more comfortable and better for the players, but fans will barely be able to notice any difference at all.
