Welcome back Bleacher Creatures to another round of live Premier League action with your resident commentator, Karl Matchett.

This weekend throws up a fascinating battle between a rejuvenated Newcastle United and a faltering Liverpool. A sixth vs. seventh matchup in the Premiership.

In the reverse tie earlier on in the season, the Reds triumphed 3-1 thanks to a Craig Bellamy brace and a late Steven Gerrard cameo appearance and goal, after Daniel Agger had initially put through his own net.

A Magpies win in this one would almost certainly mean that they would assure themselves of a top-six finish, while Liverpool could be cast off into mid-table mediocrity for the remainder of the season after five defeats in six.
