Andrew Luck in a Baseball Uniform and Other Stanford Football Updates

Peter ChenJun 6, 2018

Stanford football resumes spring practice on April 2, after a three-week hiatus for winter-quarter exams and spring break. Coach David Shaw's Cardinal will practice for two more weeks before the annual spring game on April 14.

What have we learned so far this spring?

1. Stanford’s outgoing QB, Andrew Luck, looks pretty good in a baseball uni. His next uniform will likely be that of the Indianapolis Colts.

2. Luck and several of his 2011 teammates dazzled at Stanford’s pro day.

3. Freshmen on both sides of the ball were impressive at the March 10 open practice.

4. QBs Brett Nottingham and Josh Nunes have both looked good so far.

5. Others among the players to watch on offense and defense have made their presence felt.

6. Oh, and don’t forget about that incoming class of 2016—you know, the one with several 5-star recruits and many more 4-star recruits, including Barry J. Sanders.

More updates to come after the April 7 open practice and April 14 spring game from Kezar Stadium in San Francisco.
