Scanning NFL Mock Drafts | Underclassmen Are Now in or Out
Declaring day has passed for Underclassmen to throw their hat into the ring for the NFL Draft. Mock Drafts are starting to take shape. Some had to be reworked for the kids that have decided to stay in school as well as for those that said they are entering the NFL Draft.
Let’s have a look at how this changed the face of some mock drafts in our Database…

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Note: If you go to a mock draft listed and find that the pick is different than discussed keep in mind these mock drafts are updated often. The date listed behind the link was the updated version listed when linked to. We now return to regularly scheduled Mockness…
So you may have heard that Mark Sanchez has decided to enter the NFL Draft. If not, ask Pete Carrol…he has an opinion on it. Mockers have basically welcomed Sanchez into the position vacated by Oklahoma QB, Sam Bradford.
The difference is that in most Sanchez is not moving past the number three position at Kansas City. Bradford and Matt Stafford seemed pretty even at the No. 1 spot. Advantage Matt Stafford? Not so says Football’s Future(1/17), who has him at No. 1 in Detroit…
"Many have Matt Stafford pegged as the top QB, but Sanchez is on the same level. Sanchez is a work in progress but may be a bit more consistent and should do very well on the post season circuit. Detroit needs a QB and a player that can handle the pressure that comes with the #1 spot and being the face of the franchise, and Sanchez has the maturity to carry that load.
"
Personally, because of the difference in time put in on the job, I have Matt Stafford at the top spot and Mark Sanchez falling to Kansas City(1/16). That could change by the next update though…
The Chiefs seem to be the first real mystery spot of the draft that could go in many directions. Walter Football gives a break down HERE(1/16) on the different options and what they think will happen for the Chiefs.
While RB’s struggle in many of the mock drafts, Fantasy Football Xtreme(1/16) still has three RB’s going within five picks of each other. Each of these backs can be pictured in the positions they have them falling but some New York Jets fans are going to throw a fit that they don’t need one with Thomas Jones.
Our pals over at The Hazean (1/13) have Offensive Tackle going in the first two spots. In fact, they have four OT’s drafted before Matt Stafford falls to the 49ers at the No. 10 pick.
Think that is against the grain? Draft Guru(1/16) has OT going to the Top Three spots. They have the 49ers taking Mark Sanchez and Matt Stafford going to the Bills. Have to say this is the first I have seen of a QB to the Bills in the first round.
How soon we forget about the wounded. Sport City(1/16) has the Pittsburgh Steelers taking a Running Back in the first round for the second year in a row. This year they take LeSean McCoy from Pitt.
My diehard Steelers fan cousin will be calling today (seriously, his son’s middle name is Steeler...no lie) to discuss the AFC Championship game, can’t wait to throw this at him.
Draft Ace (1/16) goes against the grain as well by placing Wake Forest OLB, Aaron Curry, in the No. 2 spot for the Rams. Sure the Rams could use him and the guy is a stud. Will the Rams use a No. 2 pick on the OLB position though?
So kids, things are about to get fun. This evening we will know all but the last two positions in the NFL Draft order. We can look for a lot of updates in the next few days so keep an eye on the Mock Draft Database!
