Why Tim Tebow's Personality Won't Be Enough to Save Jets Locker Room
Tim Tebow is a great kid, but even someone with his personality won't be able to save the New York Jets locker room.
On Tuesday, Pro Bowl cornerback Darrelle Revis went on SportsCenter and claimed that the Jets locker room is in disarray right now. That's not encouraging when you consider all the bad news that emanated from the franchise after the season.
While Rex Ryan has claimed he will fix what was wrong and that things will get better, some have seen the addition of a guy with Tebow's positive attitude as a step in the right direction. But I really don't see how that is going to help things.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Tebow will bring a media circus with him, and we all know that the first-time starting quarterback, Mark Sanchez, throws a pick-six, he's going to start looking over his shoulder. And if things start poorly for Gang Green in 2012, the locker room could become even more divided over who the team's quarterback should be.
After all, we know some of the guys on the team already think Sanchez is "lazy," while others believe in him.
Santonio Holmes is the team's No. 1 receiver, and he and Sanchez were reportedly at each other's throats at the end of the 2011 season. Though the two have since made up, I don't think anyone really expects Holmes to behave himself if things go south for the Jets in 2012.
Tebow is a great person, but there are so many strong personalities in New York's locker room that I don't think he will have much of an impact.
Until the Jets clean house and get rid of some of their more toxic personalities, nothing will fix the problems that exist in the team's locker room.
